C.S. Beatty Construction was founded in May of 1999

CS Beatty Construction is a site development contractor based in Birmingham, Alabama. Founded in 1999, CS Beatty Construction specializes in civil site work for commercial, industrial and environmental clients. Our areas of expertise include site preparation and protection, clearing, grading, erosion control, utilities and storm drainage.

CS Beatty Construction was founded by Craig Beatty with a mission of developing and maintaining a satisfied client base. Craig began his career at Harbert International and has over 30 years experience in the construction industry. Craig has built CS Beatty Construction based on client service, ethical value, trust, and with a reputation for completing projects on time, within budget and to the clients specified level of quality.

Ted Lackey, with over 35 years of experience in field operations, is able to manage challenging situations and make decisions that save our clients’ time and money through innovative processes. Ted focuses his activities on the client and strives to ensure that each one receives the most value from our work.

CS Beatty Construction has a committed team of professionals that strive daily to exceed our customer’s expectations. From our dedicated team of estimators and project managers to our highly skilled superintendents and operators we can produce results that will save our clients money and exceed their projects’ goals.

CS Beatty Construction has a full time safety professional who ensures each project is strictly adhering to all safety guidelines and requirements. We have weekly documented safety meetings and reward our field personnel for maintaining accident free job sites.

CS Beatty Construction uses all late model equipment to make sure that each project runs efficiently without interruption. We use the latest technology in equipment management, keeping our production machines at close to 100% availability. We utilize a preventive maintenance plan that focuses on repairs before failure. Minimizing non-scheduled equipment downtime lets the client know that we will be working on a site rather than using the site to repair equipment.
